The Festivalet of the Encuentro marks the closing of a circle: if during the Encuentro we learn and explore traditional music, the Festivalet is the moment when everything culminates and the artistic projects that have been, in one way or another, connected to our courses take shape.
We are very excited to open the square on the final day and fill every corner of Castellnou with music and wonderful people. That’s why, instead of a single final concert, we want the closing of the Encuentro to be full of concerts. And since this year focuses on the sounds of the Iberian Peninsula, the proposals for this first Festivalet will be linked to peninsular traditions.
Alosa, El Baile Entero by Pablo Martín Jones, Joana Negrão, Otxo, Mar Pujol, and Algarada will be the featured acts of this first edition.
And no village celebration would be complete without food stands for all tastes. Make sure to reserve your tickets so you don’t miss out on this celebration, as places are limited. Ticket sales will open on March 22.

Program
The Festivalet ticket costs €30 and includes access to all concerts and activities.
Dinner is not included and cannot be booked in advance, but you will find several food stalls throughout the village.
As a new feature this year, you can stay overnight in Castellnou! For an additional cost of €6, you can reserve a plot to pitch a tent or park a van. Only one person per group needs to make the reservation.
Please remember to leave the space as you found it.
