Son Jarocho is part of an oral tradition and collective memory; in this module, José Tereso Vega shares his experience as a musician and practitioner of a family tradition spanning three or four generations, passing on to the students his expertise in the rhythmic execution of the tambourine, the jawbone, and the ensemble of traditional verses and their phrasing.
