We will work on improvisation within the harmonic circles of some traditional “Sones”, using established melodic lines (declarations) and the ‘tangueo’ as a form of continuo or tumbao from the Son Jarocho, applied to melodic and percussion instruments.
Students will be able to take the class with string instruments such as requinto, guitar, bowed strings, and wind instruments.
A minimum knowledge of the instrument is required for this workshop. If you have a higher level, your workshop is the Jarana/Strings one.
